Those Magnificent Men

Those Magnificent Men

A double-act interactive character ride about on unique biplane/penny farthings with accompanying soundtrack and atmospheric, sometimes hilarious sound effects played out of their own in-built Mini rig sound systems.

The bicycle biplanes can be ridden at slower than walking pace and despite their 5 foot wingspans, can be safely ridden amongst the ‘audience’ in most situations. They ‘come into their own’ in larger environments eg festivals, shopping centres where they can fly free.

‘Tally Ho! Chocks Away!’

Accompanied by a playlist of soundtracks include such atmospheric giants as Flight Of The Valkyries, Those Magnificent Men, Fly Me To The Moon, which provide the backdrop for engine and flight sounds (flypasts, engine sounds, comedy horns etc).

Aargh!!!

Aargh!

Avaste ye landlubbers! Come join our two salty buccaneers searching for treasure and adventures on the high seas. Meet a pair of pirates sailing atop incredibly detailed, miniature galleons that glide majestically across the land, as if by magic!

Shiver me timbers! The secret of this roving act is that the ships are built around self-balancing electric mono-wheels – or EUCs. Concealed speakers provide a nautical soundscape as the ships sail through the crowd. It will catch the attention of all your guests, evoking cries of ‘Blimey!’ and ‘Blow me down!’

Dead men may tell no tales, but your guests won’t stop talking about these performers as they swashbuckle, pillage and plunder their way through a crowd.

Crew members will be recruited! Treasure maps will be deciphered! Ships will be boarded! Booty will be found! Aargh!

Living Show Globe

Living Snow Globe

The Living Snow Globe is the only roaming, special effect filled snow globe act in the world. This is the ultimate wow factor act for any winter themed event. We’re not just an inflatable plastic bubble, we’re the real deal. A beautifully detailed winter wonderland scene is contained inside a twinkling, illuminated snow globe.

Sitting inside it, a mystical Snow Queen, interacting with her audience, bringing the magical scene to life. All this, sat on a traditional snow globe base glides through events creating enchantment, stopping people in their tracks. This winter themed act is truly unique.

Fabulous Contraptions!

Fabulous Contraptions! is a charming, innovative walkabout act featuring two intrepid time travellers… from the past! The Captain and The Professor glide effortlessly on their Time Machines but are simply confounded by the incredible technology all around them. They seek answers from those they encounter in their journey – in the name of science!

The act provides a not-too-heavy dose of educational entertainment by provoking curiosity in the kids, adults and families who are equally drawn into the narrative. The naivety of the travellers keeps a light-hearted slant on the interactions.

The Time Machines themselves are a feat of modern technology – self-balancing Electric Unicycles. Similar to a Segway, but only one wheel! Whilst nimble enough to negotiate busy pedestrian areas, they are perfect for events requiring large coverage and great for parades.

Bubbleologist

Bubbles bring magic and entertainment to any event. The outdoor displays are sure to draw a big crowd as bubbles of all shapes and sizes fill the air. They create a wonderful celebratory atmosphere of fun and festivity, fantastic photo opportunities and an unforgettable spectacle from bubbles the size of elephants floating majestically by to huge clouds of bubbles usually accompanied by gasps of wonder.

Outdoor bubble displays are fully interactive and can include bubble creation stations, the chance to hold a thousand bubbles, putting bubbles inside bubbles, vapour filled bubbles, creating bubbles with your hands and even the chance to be put inside a bubble (weather dependent).

Two fine Jugglers, Dancers and Entertainers bringing back the stylistic spirit of the early twentieth century Italian American Mob with a comedy twist.

Dressed in finely tailored suits, the very elegant 1920’s gangsters offer a unique interactive and roaming drive-by comedy act in a hilarious miniature car straight out of the Gatsby era. Think Bugsy Malone meets Whacky Races. The visually captivating drive-by comedy is the perfect roaming entertainment for all types of events including summer and outdoor events as it is totally family-friendly fun. The 2 Men

The2Men is a collaboration of the minds of two very silly men who ought to know better!

Putting on their costumes transforms them into the characters with hilarious results. They like to be as loud and ridiculous as possible so that they attract attention over large areas for their impromptu walkabout performances.

They will seize any opportunity to interact with people and draw them into their playful parodies! All themed characters combine carefully choreographed and rehearsed pieces and the always unexpected delights of improvising with whatever situations they may encounter.

The English Gents

The English Gents

This dynamic duo ride about on penny farthings including mini on-the-spot juggling/magic performances

The penny-farthings can be ridden at slower than walking pace and can be safely ridden amongst the ‘audience’ in most situations. They are a great way to cover larger areas of performance or animate larger spaces, and the gents are always happy to park their ‘bikes’ and do a bit of good old-fashioned floor-based entertainment where appropriate!

As well as riding around like they own the place, The English Gents also love to show off and will park their penny-farthing bikes in order to perform impromptu shows of magic and juggling for willing audiences. Mystical crystal ball manipulation, mind-boggling fun magic tricks, incredible feats of juggling all accompanied by their own jazzy backing music from a suitcase! Jolly good

Introducing the Orangutan Walkabout Act, featuring an ape with a remarkable interactive experiences. This captivating Orangutan is delighted to partake in selfies with guests, fostering an engaging atmosphere at any animal-themed venue.

Our highly realistic Orangutan suit is often mistaken for a living, breathing primate, adding an element of astonishment to the event. Accompanied by a friendly guide, the walkabout Orangutan, named Louie, is supervised at a distance to ensure proper behaviour.

This roaming act offers an enjoyable and interactive experience, allowing guests to approach and interact with the animatronic Orangutan in ways they could never do with a real-life animal. It is the perfect entertainment choice for any event, capturing the imagination and providing unforgettable memories.

Luisa – Caricaturist

Luisa Calvo is a leading well travelled UK caricaturist and pioneer of digital caricatures, keeping up with all the latest technology and happily taking on new and exciting challenges.

Luisa has shown her talent at all manner of private and public functions. During her European travels, she made a four month daily TV appearance, in which she sketched celebrities while they were being interviewed, including HRH Prince Phillip of Spain. Luisa has drawn a long list of celebrities and was delighted to be chosen to entertain the guests at Des O’Conner’s wedding in 2007 and Michelle Keegan & Mark Wright’s wedding in 2015.

Apart from over 25 years experience as a traditional on-the-spot pen & ink caricaturist, Luisa has always been fascinated by new technology and has been well known as an established expert in digital caricatures for over 10 years.
