We were delighted to return to Leicester Mela 2025 with Rani from The Elephant on Parade, Professor Patel’s Bollywood Punjeet and Judy-gee Show, and our dazzling Bollywood Stilt Walker. Rani charmed festival-goers as she paraded through the event in full colourful regalia, stopping for photos and greeting families along the way. Professor Patel’s Bollywood Punjeet and Judy-gee Show entertained crowds with a playful mix of comedy and Bollywood-style theatre, while our stilt walker added height, colour, and energy to the celebrations.

Adding even more excitement, the renowned Indian circus troupe, Circus Raj, wowed audiences with acrobatics, juggling, and spectacular circus acts. The festival also featured great live music and dancing, keeping the crowds moving and creating a lively, immersive atmosphere. Together, these performances celebrated South Asian culture and brought people of all ages together in joy and wonder.

It was a pleasure to be part of such a vibrant, family-friendly event. The team at The Elephants on Parade looks forward to returning next year to continue sharing colour, creativity, and cultural celebration with Leicester Mela audiences.
