We were honoured to take part in Diwali in London 2024. Our act, The Elephants on Parade, performed at both Trafalgar Square and Wembley Park. Performing at two of the capital’s largest and most vibrant Diwali celebrations was an unforgettable experience for our team.
We sincerely thank the organisers for inviting us to join their festivities. Performing for such enthusiastic and diverse audiences was a privilege. We loved contributing to the colour, energy, and joy that define Diwali across the city.
Major media outlets featured our work, including the BBC, Sky News, CBeebies, and several international networks. This coverage introduced our performance to a global audience and helped us share the spirit of Diwali worldwide.
Diwali is a deeply meaningful festival for Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs. It symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. It also brings families and communities together. As the diaspora has grown, the festival now reaches people of many cultures and faiths.
In London, Trafalgar Square sits at the heart of the celebrations and draws thousands each year. Meanwhile, Wembley Park and events across the UK reflect the rich diversity of those who celebrate this beautiful festival.
We are proud to have played a part in Diwali in London 2024 and look forward to returning in the future.
