ICC Cricket 2019

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the world governing body of cricket. It was founded as the Imperial Cricket Conference in 1909 by representatives from Australia, England and South Africa. It was renamed as the International Cricket Conference in 1965, and took up its current name in 1987.

The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup was the 12th Cricket World Cup, a quadrennial One Day International cricket tournament contested by men’s national teams and organised by the International Cricket Council.

One of the most anticipated games of this World Cup, the England-India battle, didn’t disappoint the fans one bit. The pressure was on England and the hosts decided to change the plans slightly. They opted to bat first and with Jason Roy back into the eleven, the opening pair looked formidable yet again. In only 22.1 overs, Roy and Jonny Bairstow added 160 runs together.

The latter went on to register a brilliant hundred. At this stage, England looked threatening and it even seemed as if they will get a score over 400. However, the Indian bowlers pulled things back beautifully by picking up a few crucial wickets. But, Ben Stokes came to the rescue with yet another spectacular half-century that left the fans on the edge of their seats. He scored 79 off just 54 balls and helped his team get to 337/7 in 50 overs.

Jack In A Box thrilled fans of both nations with their incredible Bollywood Elephant Puppet!
