The In It Together Festival kicked off our May Half Term in spectacular style, running from 22nd to 24th May. As one of the highlights of our half term calendar, it gave us the chance to bring along a fantastic line-up of acts and create a real sense of occasion across the whole weekend. With a packed programme and crowds of all ages, there was something to delight everyone who came along.
Our ever-popular Elephants on Parade roamed the festival site throughout, charming families wherever they went. These gentle giants have a wonderful way of stopping people in their tracks, and they were a firm favourite with children and grown-ups alike. Close by, the timeless fun of Punch and Judy drew crowds of little ones, who gathered eagerly for a show that has been entertaining families for generations.
The energy didn’t stop there. Hula hooper Angie Mack dazzled audiences with her skill, rhythm and boundless enthusiasm, spinning and twirling in a performance that was impossible to look away from. Adding a touch of sparkle to the air, Chaz the Bubbleologist filled the festival with shimmering bubbles of every size, sending children chasing, popping and grinning right across the site all weekend long.
Together, our performers helped create a joyful, colourful atmosphere that captured exactly what outdoor festival entertainment is all about. It was a brilliant few days and a perfect way to launch our busiest week of the season.
A huge thank you to the In It Together Festival team for having us — we had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to be back next year.
