Beyond our two flagship festival appearances, May Half Term 2026 took our performers right across the country. In fact, it was one of our busiest weeks of the season. Every day brought a new audience and a new setting. So here’s a roundup of where else you could find us during this packed week.
On the 22nd May, our Elephants on Parade made a special appearance at a private wedding. They added a real touch of circus charm to the happy couple’s big day. After all, our gentle giants are just as at home at intimate celebrations as they are at large festivals. As they mingled among the crowds, they delighted guests of all ages. Altogether, it was a unique addition to the day and created some unforgettable moments.
Next, on the 23rd May, we ran a drop-in circus workshop at the Kenyngton Manor Park Community Picnic. This gave local families the chance to try their hand at circus skills. From spinning plates to juggling and balancing, there was plenty for budding performers to enjoy. Above all, it was a lovely, laid-back community event. Best of all, it got youngsters active, involved and having a go themselves.
Later in the week, we hit the road for a three-day shopping centre tour. Along the way, we brought the Elephants on Parade and our drop-in circus workshop to shoppers young and old. First, we visited Palace Shopping Centre in Enfield on the 27th. Then came Gallions Reach on the 28th, followed by Parkway Shopping Centre in Newbury on the 29th. At every stop, our acts turned an ordinary shopping trip into something far more memorable. As a result, we drew smiles all round.
Finally, to finish a fantastic week, we headed to a family day at Amazon EMA1 on the 30th May. There, our Elephants on Parade – Explorers brought their unique charm to staff and their families. Indeed, corporate family days are a great way to bring teams and their loved ones together. As a result, our acts helped create a fun, friendly atmosphere. All in all, it rounded off a busy and rewarding half term in style.
