What a fantastic start to the summer holidays with three lively days of Summer Shopping Centre Fundays. Across several locations, families enjoyed colourful entertainment and interactive circus performances. As a result, the centres were filled with laughter, excitement and plenty of holiday spirit.
First, our performers brought circus magic to Friars Shopping Centre in Newmarket and The Guineas in Aylesbury. Throughout the day, visitors encountered a wonderful mix of walkabout entertainment and lively street shows. In particular, The Elephants on Parade created a spectacular sight as they moved through the shopping areas. Consequently, shoppers stopped to watch, take photographs and share the moment with friends and family.
Meanwhile, our circus street shows added even more energy to the celebrations. A mischievous clown kept audiences laughing while a charismatic ringmaster invited visitors to try some circus skills. As a result, children and adults alike discovered the joy of learning simple tricks and playful performances. Therefore, the atmosphere felt both interactive and welcoming for everyone attending.
At The Palace Shopping Centre in Enfield, however, the theme took a different direction. Instead of circus characters, visitors stepped into a lively seaside adventure. The day quickly became a true commotion in the ocean as pirate performers roamed the centre. Meanwhile, giant bubbles drifted through the air and delighted younger visitors. Consequently, families gathered to watch the pirate street shows and join the fun.
In addition, the roaming performers helped create a festival-like atmosphere throughout the shopping centres. Because the entertainment moved through different areas, new audiences discovered the shows throughout the day. As a result, the excitement continued to build as more visitors joined in.
Overall, these three days of summer entertainment created memorable experiences for shoppers and families alike. We were delighted to bring circus fun and interactive performances to such welcoming venues and lively crowds.
