In the joyful, free-spirited world of Kidzfield—a magical space for kids across Glastonbury Festival 2025—Albert the elephant from The Elephants on Parade brought smiles and wonder to families and festival-goers alike. Adorned in full circus regalia, he paraded through the field, becoming an instant highlight for little fans
Kidzfield is a place where creativity, imagination, and play meet in a safe, inclusive environment for children under 12. The zone follows the UN Charter for Child Rights, promoting values of self-expression, curiosity, and pure fun Kidzfield. With no strict schedules or competition for attention, it offers freeform, rainbow-hued mayhem—encouraging kids to dance, explore, and just be themselves.
As the sun beat down on Worthy Farm, Albert attracted a crowd who were delighted by one of natures gentle giant.
We also had the privilege of meeting Michael Rosen, appointed as the Childrens’ Laureate between 2007-2009. A poet, broadcaster and academic specialising in childrens’ literature, his book “We Are Going On A Bear hunt” is a childhood rite of passage!
